On Friday we left Hatteras with almost slick water. We were able to run 35 - 40 mph all the way to the Gulf Stream. We went to the Rock Pile and found the stream a couple of miles past it. We fished Hatteras Inlet Saturday morning and caught a few blow toads, lizardfish, and small flounder. It was pretty slow, and we did not see anyone catching anything else of size. There is still nice mullet runs happening, so at least we have some bait for the next trip.

On Saturday, we left Teach's Lair Marina before day light and headed toward the gulf stream past 280 Rocks. Finally a break in the weather and the guys are out fishing. They returned with pretty good catches of Wahoo and Dolphin. There were also some Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna caught. On Friday we started fishing Hatteras Inlet with the incoming tide. It was a beauftiful day, despite Hurricane Daniel blowing hard offshore. We caught blow toads, croaker, flounder, lizard fish, pig fish, pin fish, sea mullet, and skates. Nothing big was caught, but it was fun.
